gira alrededor del desarrollo de nuevos <strong>m\u00e9todos de s\u00edntesis estereoselectiva<\/strong> basados en la reactividad de <strong>enolatos met\u00e1licos<\/strong> y su aplicaci\u00f3n a la s\u00edntesis de compuestos biol\u00f3gicamente activos.<br \/>\nActualmente, estamos interesados en desarrollar nuevas reacciones directas y enantioselectivas de tioimidas catalizadas por complejos quirales de n\u00edquel(II) para la construcci\u00f3n asim\u00e9trica de enlaces carbono-carbono en procesos de alquilaci\u00f3n, ald\u00f3lico, Michael y Mannich.<br \/>\nPor otra parte, hemos iniciado una ambiciosa exploraci\u00f3n sobre la posibilidad de que diferentes metales de transici\u00f3n permitan generar <strong>catal\u00edticamente<\/strong> enolatos que participen en procesos radicalarios.<br \/>\nAs\u00ed, intentamos aplicar todas estas transformaciones a la s\u00edntesis de productos naturales que, a su vez, constituye para nosotros una fuente de Tambi\u00e9n investigamos nuevas estrategias de vehiculizaci\u00f3n dirigida de f\u00e1rmacos basadas en la conjugaci\u00f3n de compuestos bioactivos a p\u00e9ptidos y anticuerpos, as\u00ed como el uso de nanoveh\u00edculos. Adem\u00e1s de sintetizar nuevos f\u00e1rmacos fotoactivables, tambi\u00e9n evaluamos su actividad biol\u00f3gica en modelos celulares y animales. Llevamos a cabo la prueba de concepto inicial <em>in vitro<\/em>, en el propio laboratorio o en colaboraci\u00f3n. Despu\u00e9s de seleccionar los candidatos pept\u00eddicos, evaluamos su actividad <em>in vivo<\/em> para probar la eficacia y baja toxicidad. Disponemos de colaboraciones en toda Europa para llevar a cabo estudios de farmacocin\u00e9tica, histopatolog\u00eda, toxicidad, biof\u00edsica y eficacia.
