The Academic Committee assigns an Advisory Committee to each doctoral candidate admitted to our program. This committee consists of three members of the Program or external scientists with a proven research track. At least one of the members of this committee must be member of the Program. None of these committee members should be the doctoral candidate’s Thesis supervisor or members of the panel that is to examine his or her Thesis. The Academic Committee will also appoint one of these three doctors as the committee’s spokesperson, to be in charge of coordinating the committee’s activities.
The main objectives of the Advisory Committee are to guarantee the absolute confidentiality of the doctoral candidate’s Thesis and all such work forming part of that Thesis, and to ensure its academic quality at the different stages leading to its completion. The Advisory Committee’s tasks are to:
