Dr. Rebecca T. Ruck, Associate Vice President at Merck Research Laboratories, will share her experience in research, innovation, and leadership in chemistry, as well as her reflections on the role of women in science and advice for young researchers. She currently leads the Enabling Technologies group, driving cutting-edge projects in catalysis, photochemical processes, and biocatalysis applied to the pharmaceutical industry. The thesis has been supervised by Dr. Pau Gorostiza.
