PhD in Organic Chemistry

The University of Barcelona’s doctoral program Organic Chemistry is led by researchers from the University of Barcelona and from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), professionals conducting RCE research in such varied areas as organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, theoretical chemistry and biomolecular chemistry. Our aims are to offer students a comprehensive course of learning leading to a doctoral qualification and to focus on developing doctorands’ scientific creativity, their interdisciplinary expertise and the professional relevance of their research at an international level. With these objectives in mind and, as researchers affiliated to a series of benchmark institutions that readily engage in both current developments and plans for the future, we very much wish to work hand in hand with others like us, with professionals and students prepared to meet the challenges we all face ahead.
